Robert Torretti

Managing Director & Relationship Manager, North America at Ares Management

Mr. Torretti is a Managing Director and Relationship Manager for North America in the Ares Global Client Solutions Group, where he leads the team focused on insurance company clients. Prior to joining Ares in 2017, Mr. Torretti was a Director at BlackRock in the Financial Institutions Group, where he also focused on insurance company clients. Previously, Mr. Torretti served as Regional Investment Manager, Americas at Zurich Insurance Group, overseeing the company's general account portfolios and investment teams in North and South America, and as Regional Investment Manager, Latin America. In addition, Mr. Torretti worked at American International Group in investment management and in insurance operating companies, including overseas assignments in Europe, the Middle East and Latin America. Mr. Torretti holds a B.A. from the Johns Hopkins University in International Studies, an M.A. from the University of Pennsylvania, School of Arts and Sciences in International Studies and an M.B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School. Mr. Torretti is a CFA® charterholder.
