Sonali Basak is Lead Wall Street correspondent for Bloomberg TV and a writer for Bloomberg News.
As a breaking news and feature reporter for Bloomberg for almost 9 years, Sonali covers investment banking and private equity and have also covered wealth, deals, asset management and the insurance industry. She’s been a beat reporter for banks including Morgan Stanley, UBS and Deutsche Bank and covered the listings of PJT and Houlihan Lokey. She broke the news on WeWork's plunging valuation and was first to outline JPMorgan's extensive relationships with the firm. Sonali helped lead coverage for the listings of Uber and Slack for Bloomberg News, then covered the Airbnb, Coinbase and DoorDash listings for Bloomberg Television.
