Head Credit Investments at SUSI Partners

Alexander Hunzinger has been leading SUSI’s Credit Investments team since 2015 and has significantly contributed to the development and refinement of the firm’s asset-based credit financing solution tailored to energy efficiency and other energy transition investments. Since his start at SUSI, the firm has invested more than EUR 500 million through these solutions und has thus established itself as a global leader in the private funding of energy efficiency measures.

Before joining SUSI Partners in 2015, he worked for the German office of the US-American private equity fund Perseus L.L.C. During this period, he invested in technology companies active in sectors such as solar energy, biomass, decentralised energy generation, and recycling. Alexander started his career at the utility/public sector department of the investment bank Sal. Oppenheim Jr. & Cie., where he worked on several privatisation projects in the energy sector.
