Michael Timms is Managing Director at 17Capital, a private credit manager specializing in NAV finance. Michael is based in San Francisco and is responsible for sourcing, underwriting, and executing preferred equity and NAV loan facilities for private equity management companies, funds, and investors. Michael joined 17Capital in 2021 and holds more than 15 years of financial services experience, having previously held roles at Wells Fargo, first in Fixed Income Sales and then in the Financial Institutions Group. He started his career at Bank of America Merrill Lynch where he spent four years in Equity Sales. Michael holds a Master’s degree in Commerce from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce, and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Virginia.
