Anand Lunia is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner at India Quotient - a leading early-stage venture fund that invests in tech-enabled businesses catering to large markets in India. He started his first company Brainvisa in the dotcom era just after graduating from IIM Lucknow. Post that, he donned the hat of an angel investor invested in companies like Rebel Foods, MyDentist, and Inkfruit. In his last role before India Quotient, he was a partner at one of the oldest Indian venture funds called Seedfund, known for its exits in Carwale and Redbus.
At India Quotient, along with his partners Madhukar Sinha and Gagan Goyal - both of whom are ex-entrepreneurs and investors - he focuses on the very large and unique internet consumer market of India along with all its derivatives. India Quotient takes credit for investing in category-defining investments in Social Media, Cloud Kitchens, Online Lending, D2C brands, micro-business SaaS. The fund currently invests out of its Fund 3 and has invested in over 60 cos in the last seven years.
