Philip Erlanger is a skilled investor and financial executive. He brings 25+ years of global transaction experience across a wide range of markets and industries, with established expertise in food and agriculture technology, financial institutions, private equity and the capital markets. He also serves as a board member and advisor to various companies and organizations.
Mr. Erlanger is the Co-Founder and Joint Managing Partner of Pontifax AgTech, a leading global growth capital investor in the food and agriculture technology sector. He previously spent his Wall Street career at at Lehman Brothers and its successor, Barclays Capital, where he led the Firm’s West Coast Financial Services banking practice and subsequently, its Financial Sponsor coverage effort. He was Chairman of Lehman’s Los Angeles office, a member of its Business Development Committee and a charter member of its Senior Client Council.
Mr. Erlanger has served on the Board of Governors of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and The Los Angeles Philharmonic. Mr. Erlanger holds a Doctorate in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School.
