Maria LettiniExecutive Director at FAIRR Initiative
Maria Lettini is the Executive Director of the FAIRR Initiative, a global network of 300+ investors, whose combined assets total more than $40 trillion. The network engages institutional investors and related stakeholders on the material environmental, social and governance risks that are inherent in today's food system with the aim of future-proofing investment portfolios and influencing critical strategic change within global protein supply chains.
Before joining the FAIRR, Maria spent six years at the UN-supported Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) where she managed the PRI’s signatory relations and outreach strategy - spearheading awareness about financially material ESG issues and ensuring their incorporation into investment policies and practices worldwide.
Currently, she serves on the Sustainability Accounting Standard Board (SASB) Standards Advisory Group. She is also a member of the Intentional Endowment Network’s (IEN) Steering Committee. Maria has over twenty -five years’ experience in global investment banking, business and finance, and has worked at both J.P. Morgan and Deutsche Bank. She has been based in San Francisco, New York, and Madrid and now resides in London.
