Sebastien Gyger, Ph.D., CFA, is a senior investment professional with 20 years of experience. He was formerly the Chief Investment Officer and Head of Investments for the Wealth management and Institutional units at Banque Pâris Bertrand, which he joined in 2019. Before that, he was a financial advisor for a number of private clients, families, family-offices and pensions. Until 2016, he was a Managing Director at Lombard Odier, where he held a number of senior positions as Head of Portfolio management and Head of Asset Allocation for the Private Asset Management unit. Mr Gyger studied physics at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL), graduating in 1998. He earned a Ph.D. in 2002 for his doctoral thesis entitled 'A statistical approach to hedge fund selection and portfolio construction". He earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2005.
