Martin is a highly experienced consultant with almost 20 years’ experience delivering projects for some of the world’s leading companies across both sustainability and investment banking sectors. He is passionate about working with businesses to deliver environmental and economic sustainability, ensure their compliance with relevant initiatives and identify compelling opportunities for innovation and leadership.
Martin has previous delivered projects for and held positions at clients including Bunzl plc, European Investment Bank, AstraZeneca, Spectris plc, RSA Insurance, AXA XL, Porsche, UK Home Office, Rathbone Brothers plc, BDO LLP, HSBC, Royal Bank of Scotland and JP Morgan Chase. This experience of working with large private and public sector organisations has given Martin valuable insights around overcoming the challenges inherent in identifying and delivering sustainability objectives within a commercial setting.
Since completing an MSc Global Energy and Climate Policy degree with Distinction in 2015, Martin has led the delivery of projects including sustainability strategy development, target setting, ensuring alignment with the UN SDGs, mandatory emissions disclosure, supply chain risk assessments, carbon offsetting, ESOS compliance and CDP.
