Microalgae biomass contains some exploitable compounds such as proteins, polyamines, polyphenols, exopolysaccharides, polyalkanes and phytohormones, which are targets of biostimulant formulations.

New production processes are being promoted to achieve a sustainable and less harmful development based on nutritional-based chemicals and new “zero residue” to guarantee the health of crops.

The development of this project is being carried out with the financial support granted through a joint call between Spain and India to finance bilateral R&D projects by the Center for Industrial Technological Development and its counterpart in India.
