Having trained as a PhD in Synthetic Organic Chemistry, Alastair has been with Almac since 2002. He has worked in various roles, starting on developing novel purification methods for peptides, and moving through a series of management roles in Custom synthesis and Process Development.

From 2016, Alastair headed Almac’s Business Development activities, providing support to Almac’s API services global Business Development team for peptide projects.

In September 2021, Alastair was appointed Vice President Peptides, with responsibility for all aspects of Almac’s peptide business.
