Kent Kirshenbaum
Professor at NYU


Dr. Kirshenbaum is a Professor of Chemistry at New York University and the co-founder of NYU’s Biomedical Chemistry Institute. He holds a B.A. in Chemistry from Reed College, a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from University of California, San Francisco and was an N.I.H. Postdoctoral Fellow in Protein Chemistry at Caltech. Kirshenbaum's research focuses on developing sequence-structure-function relationships in biomimetic N-substituted glycine peptoid oligomers. Kirshenbaum also serves as the Chief Scientific Officer for Maxwell Biosciences.
