Osama Saher received his bachelor’s degree in pharmaceutical science in 2010 from Faculty of Pharmacy, Cairo University, Egypt. From 2012 to 2014, he worked as a researcher and a teaching assistant at Department of Pharmaceutics and industrial pharmacy. He obtained his MSC degree in 2014 and his thesis focused on developing formulations for efficient ocular drug delivery.Osama Saher is currently a senior Ph.D student in Molecular Cell Biology and Gene Therapy group, Karolinska institutet, Sweden. His studies focus on optimizing non-viral delivery vectors and screening of different oligonucleotide chemistries for triplet nucleotide repeat disorders. Research interests include Pharmaceutical Sciences, Drug delivery, Gene therapy, Therapeutics for triplet nucleotide diseases.
