Pierre-Emmanuel Broutin, PhDProject Chemist at Polypeptide Group
Profile
Pierre-Emmanuel Broutin studied in Mulhouse (France) where he received a degree in chemical engineering and MSc in organic and bio-organic chemistry. He completed a Ph.D. in 2005 toward asymmetric Suzuki coupling with enantiopure sulfoxides as chiral inductors at Strasbourg in the group of Pr. Françoise COLOBERT. After one year at the Roskamp Institute (USA) working in lead optimization for the treatment of Alzheimer disease, he joined NovAliX (France) for 8 years where he was involved in several early phase medicinal chemistry projects. Pierre-Emmanuel joined Polypeptide (France) in 2016 as a project chemist for development of processes for GMP manufacture.
