Annie Kan, Ph.D.Senior Research Administration Officer at University of Queensland
Annie Kan grew up in Taiwan and moved to Australia in 1998. She undertook her PhD in medicinal chemistry at the School of Chemistry and Molecular Biosciences at The University of Queensland and joined David Craik’s group at the Institute for Molecular Bioscience as a senior research administration officer in 2013. She was appointed as an Executive Officer of the ARC Centre of Excellence for Innovations in Peptide and Protein Science in 2020. Her research interests are in applications of peptide chemistry in medicine and agriculture, with a particular focus on cyclic peptides, including cyclotides.
