David Guay, Ph.D.Research Director at Feldan Therapeutics
David Guay is the Research Director at Feldan Therapeutics since 2009. Dr. Guay received his PhD in molecular and cell biology from Laval University for its research on the implication of a transcription factor in DNA repair and chemotherapy resistance mechanisms. He holds a postdoctoral fellowship in chemical engineering from McGill University where he developed a DNA delivery technique based on a non-thermal plasma technology. His research at Feldan Therapeutics led to the development and optimization of the “Feldan Shuttle”, a peptide-based technology designed to deliver native proteins, namely antibodies and CRISPR-associated nucleases, in multiple cultured human cells and mouse lungs.
