Doug has over 25 years working in the oligonucleotide industry and has served on the TIDES Scientific Advisory Panel since 2008. After completing his graduate studies at UC Santa Cruz, he joined Ionis Pharmaceuticals. Through the years he has worked at several therapeutic Oligo companies developing CMC strategy and overseeing technical operations. He has contributed to multiple regulatory CMC submissions in multiple countries. In 2018, he established Matapalo Pharmaceutical Consulting Services located in Carlsbad, California.
