Head of Business Unit Peptide Process Development at PolyPeptide Group

Dr. Rekaï is Head of Process Development & Manufacturing Life Cycle Management, at PolyPeptide Group in Belgium, in charge of the R&D, scaling-up, validation and commercial process of the peptide projects. She obtained her PhD in Organic Chemistry (Sugar chemistry) from University of Pierre and Marie Curie in 1997. Then, she took up a post-doctoral position in Polymer chemistry at the University Catholique de Louvain in Belgium from 1998 to 1999. In January 2000, Dr. Rekaï started as peptide R&D Chemist at UCB-Bioproducts, Braine-l’Alleud (Belgium). Then, she specialized in chemical up scaling and validation before taking on the role of the overall Process Development and commercial stages in October 2013.
