Jurgen MachielseDirector, Life Sciences at AIC
Jürgen studied chemistry in the Netherlands and worked as R&D scientist and operations manager in several international environments where chromatography was the major separation technology. In 2001 he changed from being a chromatographer in leading at Varian the production of Liquid Chromatography stationary phases and consumables. After his MBA in 2007 he moved from operations to Business Development from where he specialized in implementing new departments and bringing products to the market. In this position he worked for Agilent, Osaka Soda and Zeochem. His current position is Director Life Sciences at American International Chemical (AIC) where he leads the Chromatography Department.
