Dr Sara ten Have obtained her undergrad in Biochemistry at Macquarie University, Sydney Australia, followed by her PhD in the Pathogenesis of Endometriosis at the University of Sydney. Following a post doc at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg, Germany, she become a proteomic consultant at the University of Dundee, UK, with access to one of the best Mass Spec facilities in Europe. She has specialised in mass spectrometry analysis of peptides and proteins, with the application of understanding biological questions, with a particular interest in clinical translational research. She founded Origin Peptides in 2018 after discovering a novel green method of peptide synthesis, and is developing this technology, with the aim of cleaning up the peptide synthesis industry and broadening the applications for peptides, as they can now be manufactured faster, greener and more cost effectively.
