Sixuan Li is on a mission to transform nanomedicine formulation from art to science. He is currently a PhD candidate at Johns Hopkins University in the Department of Mechanical Engineering advised by Dr. Tza-Huei Wang. His research focuses on developing and applying novel methods in the single-molecule analysis of nucleic acids, proteins, and nanoparticles, combining approaches from a variety of disciplines, including biophysics, chemistry, optics, and engineering. His work has been published in journals including Nature Communications, Analytical Chemistry, Lab on a Chip, and Small Methods, and he has a patent on the characterization of nanoparticles.
