Christie has over 20 years of experience in the Research and Media Industry, spanning careers in Academia, Research and Consultancy Services, and TV/Media companies. Currently, Christie leads the Content Innovation Analytics Research department at Viacom, which provides Data Science and Analytics / Insights / Platform Architecture support across all the Viacom brands. Her role is to create new analytical products and tools, built on the combination of data and insight innovation… with the aim to not only create new sets of longitudinal data on our evolving TV viewers, but also to manage / store / analyze the data in one central place, and to turn millions of data points into actionable insights for the brands. She is a TV and media expert that has a background in programming and content research, large scale audience and platform consumption research, quantitative theory and data science, and product innovation.
