Head of Consumer Insights at Bauer Hockey


Head of Consumer Insights Initiatives for Bauer Hockey, Dan Sarmiento has a rich experience leading brand and consumer strategy while consulting across an array of industries, implementing innovation processes and insight mining. Dan’s specialties include the design, development, and delivery of consumer led innovation from workshops to shop-a-longs. He has extensive advertising agency experience previously working at Arnold Worldwide and DigitasLBi. He’s developed brand strategies for Panasonic, Jack Daniel’s, Staples, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Centers for Disease Control, and P&G. As Director of Innovation + Design at C Space, his experience included Audi, Wal-Mart, Google, Bose, and Mondelez.

Dan’s curious by nature and happiest when uncovering human nature gems connecting consumers to brand truths. A Boston University alumnus, he also holds graduate credentials from Harvard University and Boston University. An Adjunct Professor at Boston University’s since 2010 he teaches undergraduate and graduate level classes in consumer insights.
