Karissa Cliff
Director of Consumer Insights at Fruit of the Loom


Her professor singled her out for Marketing Research over 25 years ago. She said, “what’s that?” and a career launched!  With no glass ceiling and international opportunities plentiful, she graduated from Belmont on a full Ericson scholarship and headed to Vanderbilt for an MBA on a full ride.  That took her to P&G - Japan and the UK.  Then back South as a lent resource at Dollar General.  Next up was Clorox, General Mills, and Mead Johnson / Enfamil.  She got her wish to travel the world to Asia, Latin America, Europe, Northern Africa, even a year in Paris - a rough assignment, but someone had to do it!  She fit in four kids, returned from Chicago to Kentucky and landed at Fruit of the Loom while doing a doctorate at Trevecca.  Her dissertation, the “Relationship between Advertising and Employee Engagement,” has helped many an insomniac fall asleep.  She aspires to be an Insights OG
