Malcolm Brooks
Senior Insights Associate at Olson Zaltman


Before joining Olson Zaltman, Malcolm worked in global strategy at an AI neuroscience-powered hiring platform, sharpening skills in depth-research and custom reporting. as As an undergraduate food science major, he gained experience in policy at the USDA’s Office of Congressional Relations, and research, studying athermal milk concentration with Cornell’s Food Science department, also developing salmonella detection media at MSU. His fascination with consumer innovation strategy and consumer behavior was furthered honed during his graduate business studies.

Malcolm graduated summa cum laude with a BS in Food Science and Technology from Mississippi State University and with a Master’s in Commerce from the University of Virginia. His written work has been featured in the market research publications GreenBook and ESOMAR World, while he co-produces the Double Talk mind science series. When he’s not exploring the unconscious mind, Malcolm enjoys film, paintball, and trivia, appearing twice on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire.
