As Director of Data Science & Customer Research for Walmart Labs, Salome and her team have responsibility over design, execution and roadmap for the first of its kind inhouse Customer Research Platform. The Walmart Research Platform not only delivers unprecedented speed of customer data, relying heavy on automation and real time data collection, but it also leverages Machine Learning, and AI to automate Text Analytics, and business decisions across customer, marketing, and operations. Salome and her team have been instrumental in changing the way Walmart approaches Customer Research and Customer Experience Measurement for Walmart US, and also for international Markets. Previous to this role, Salome has held multiple Insights and Analytics roles at Sam’s Club, Walmart.com, Walmart US, and International. Salome is a Lead Trustee at the Marketing Science Institute, and has a strong passion of mentoring women in STEM.
