Group Head - Total Rewards and Performance at Al Ghurair Investments


Suhrid is the Group Head - Total Rewards and Performance at the multi-country, multi-sector, UAE Based conglomerate - Al Ghurair Investments. Established in 1960, Al Ghurair is one of the largest diversified industrial enterprises in the Middle East. 

Prior to joining Al Ghurair, Suhrid was responsible for Total Rewards solutions across Noor Investment Group companies such as Noor Bank, e-Wallet (Fin Tech), Zawaya Real Estate and Noor Takaful (Insurance) as their Head of Rewards and Performance. He has previously worked for leading organisations such as the Tata Group, PwC (Pricewaterhouse Coopers) and ICICI Bank. 

He carries over 15 years of HR Leadership and Strategy consulting experience in the areas of Total Rewards, Performance Management, Organization design, Engagement and Change Management. Suhrid specialises in crafting a performance driven culture through performance and rewards. He carries hands-on experience of driving large scale change and translating Business strategy into actionable outcomes through focused organisation design and Total Rewards interventions. 

Suhrid is a Bachelor’s in Information Technology and Master’s in Human Resource and OD from the prestigious Delhi School of Economics, where he graduated with a First Class in 2006. Suhrid is a certified in various Job Evaluation and organisation design methodologies. He is a certified MBTI® administrator and trained in psychometric instruments such as OPQ 32i, LPA™ and Profiles XT. Suhrid is certified Human Resource Management Professional (HRMP℠/ SPHR-i) by HRCI and a SHRM-SCP. 

Suhrid is a passionate public speaker, having participated and spoken at various conferences and professional events. Suhrid won the “Compensation & Benefits Leadership Award”, at the World HRD Congress, India in 2017.
