Head of Tax for East Asia and Oceania at ERICSSON

Evelyn Lim is the Head of Tax for East Asia and Oceania for Ericsson, a leading provider of 5G network equipment and telecommunications. She is currently leading a team of tax specialists within Ericsson Finance Shared Service and Center of Excellence where she is accountable for 18 countries’ corporate tax, transfer pricing and indirect tax matters including China, Australia, New Zealand, Korea, Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore etc. Evelyn is proficient in 4 languages and enjoys working with her team of cultural diversity from various countries.
Evelyn has over 13 years’ experience of professional taxation practice and consulting including PwC New Zealand and Malaysia where she managed various MNC clients in various industries such as fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), manufacturing, operational headquarters, property development and construction, pharmaceutical, financial services, casino, plantation/agriculture, multi-level marketing, media, ICT, hospitality industries that comes with myriad complexities. She has gained commercial experience while managing tax matters for Bank, Pharmaceutical and ICT companies.
In addition, Evelyn is also a Fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), graduated from University of London where she majored in BSc Accounting & Finance. Evelyn is currently married and residing in Kuala Lumpur where she often starts her day with a cup of hot Green Tea before she checks her mail with her poodle laying comfortably beside her.
