Tiaan Koole

Head of Tax at ICM LIMITED

Tiaan Koole joined ICM in 2020 as the Head of Tax. He has over fifteen years of international tax experience, working at PwC for over ten years in their Cape Town and Amsterdam offices. Prior to joining ICM, Tiaan was Head of International Tax at Sanlam for five years, covering the non-South African portfolio. At ICM, Tiaan is responsible for the tax strategy and function of the ICM Group, and oversight of the tax affairs of the investee companies. Tiaan graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce (LLB) degree from the University of Stellenbosch and holds a Master’s Degree in Tax Law (LLM). He is an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa and is currently studying further at the University of Melbourne in the graduate tax law programme.
