Sébastien Rheault (LL.L., cum laude, Dean’s List; MBA) is a partner with Barsalou Lawson Rheault, a Top Canadian Tax Law Boutique (Thomson Reuters).
His practice focuses on transfer pricing and tax controversy (ranked Highly Regarded by Euromoney and the International Tax Review). He represents the firm’s clientele on audit, at Competent Authority (MAP-APA), at administrative appeals, as well as before federal and provincial courts.
Sébastien is a past Governor of the Canadian Tax Foundation, a board member and a past president of the Canadian Bar Association’s Tax Section (Quebec division) and a member of the CPA-CBA Joint Committee on Taxation. He presented at the OECD’s invitation on the transfer pricing aspects of intangible property. He is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and the Quebec Bar.
Sébastien and other members of the firm support young high-level athletes in Canada, through endurance cycling fund-raising events (FAEQ).
