Dr. Katerina Perrou, studied law in Athens, Greece and holds a PhD in International Taxation from the IALS, University of London, UK. She is an Assistant Lecturer at the University of Athens Law School, where she teaches mainly EU and International Tax Law. In 2016-2018 she conducted research in tax treaty related issues as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the IBFD, in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Her research interests focus on cross-border tax dispute resolution, alternative dispute resolution and prevention, as well as the protection of taxpayer rights. She currently serves as Legal Counsel to the Governor of the Greek Independent Authority for Public Revenue.
