He graduated from the Warsaw School of Economics (Faculty of Foreign Trade) and the Warsaw University of Technology (Faculty of Mechanics and Technology).

He completed his postgraduate studies at the Institute of Foreign Trade Theory of Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz. He also graduated from the INSEAD Advanced Management Program in Fontainebleau.

In years 2009 – 2011 – Country Manager for Poland, Member of the Executive Committee Poland, Russia and Baltic countries in the NORDEA Group.

Appointed to supervisory boards of domestic companies and international economic institutions, including PZU S.A., Hortex S.A., Bank Pekao S.A., KGHM International Ltd. in Vancouver, the International Bank for Economic Co-operation and International Investment Bank in Moscow. Appointed to the governing bodies of Polish Bank Association. Before the appointment to the Management Board of PBA he was a member of the PBA Banking Ethics Committee.

In 2011 he was awarded the Officer’s Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta by the President of Poland Bronisław Komorowski. In 2013 honored with the honorary award „For Special Merit to Public Finance of Poland”.
