Senior Vice President, Standards and Industry Information Technology at NCPDP

John Klimek R.Ph. is senior vice president, standards and industry information technology with the National Council for Prescription Drug Programs (NCPDP). His main objective is to work with industry leaders in healthcare to achieve interoperability amongst the healthcare standards, which will ultimately increase healthcare efficiencies and patient safety.

John previously sat on the HIT Standards Committee created by the Office of the National Coordinator (ONC), for three years. He also has spoken at multiple industry events that involved discussions around Eprescribing, ePrior Authorizations, and Specialty Pharmacy to name just a few.

John holds a B.S. Degree in Pharmacy from the University of Illinois School of Pharmacy and is a Registered Pharmacist in the state of Illinois.
