Sean McGowan

Vice President, Biosimilars Sales and Marketing at Amneal

Sean McGowan is the Vice President of Biosimilar Sales & Marketing and is responsible for leading the sales, marketing, operations, and commercial strategy for Amneal Pharmaceuticals biosimilar portfolio.

Sean has over a dozen years of experience in the healthcare industry, including biopharma and pharmaceutical product commercialization, trade and distribution, market access and patient services. Prior to joining Amneal Pharmaceuticals, he spent 5 years at AmerisourceBergen as part of AB’s Strategic Global Sourcing group where he led the Biosimilar product category. Sean has also held commercial, strategic account management, market access and business development positions at AstraZeneca, Endo Pharmaceuticals and Accolade, Inc. Sean graduated from the Fox School of Business at Temple University with a Masters of Business Administration and received his undergraduate degree from Dickinson College.
