Sophia is regularly instructed in contentious and non-contentious private client cases, and is an experienced High Court and appellate advocate. She has significant experience of cases concerning wills, trusts, probate and estate matters. Having spent time on secondment in the Channel Islands and Cayman Islands, she is also experienced in complex offshore trust matters.
Sophia recently acted for the appellant (led by Robert Pearce QC) in MN v OP  EWCA Civ 679, an appeal to the Court of Appeal of a first instance decision granting a variation of a settlement but refusing an anonymity order. Sophia is ranked as an up and coming traditional chancery barrister in Chambers HNW, and was shortlisted as a star junior at the Chambers and Partners HNW Awards 2019.
