Emma joined the Central Bank of Ireland in 2019 and has been leading the Advisory Unit within the Fund & Firm Authorisations Function since August 2022. Emma has responsibility for overseeing the Advisory Unit which addresses complex fund submissions as well as considering implications of new legislation or ESMA related developments for the Central Bank’s gatekeeping activity.
Since joining the Bank, Emma has also held the role of Senior Supervisor in Fund Service Provider Supervision and Funds Authorisation Manager.
Prior to joining the Bank, Emma worked in the fund administration industry for many years. Emma is a Fellow Chartered Accountant and most recently completed a certificate programme in Harvard Law School on Securities Markets Regulation.
