Hazel O’Flynn is an Independent Non-Executive Director sitting on a number of Irish ICAV and Cayman Fund Boards. Ms. O’Flynn was previously a founding partner of a Central Bank of Ireland authorised Alternative Investment Fund Manager, Atlantic Capital Management Limited ("Atlantic"). Ms. O’Flynn acted as the Head of Compliance, Chief Risk Officer and Designated Person for Atlantic and director on the Atlantic Credit Opportunities Funds Boards. Ms. O’Flynn also sat on the Risk and Valuation Committees of Atlantic.
Prior to joining Atlantic, Ms O’Flynn was a Vice President at Bank of America Merrill Lynch (“BAML”) in London where she supported the Global Credit and Special Situations desk which covered credit trading, distressed loan trading, high yield and structured products. Prior to joining BAML, Ms. O’Flynn was in the Structured Capital Markets division of Commerzbank AG in London supporting structured finance and structured asset solutions transactions.
Ms. O’Flynn completed her training in a KPMG’s Financial Services Tax department in Dublin and is a qualified chartered accountant and a qualified chartered tax adviser. Ms. O’Flynn received a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Politics from Trinity College Dublin, where she graduated with an honours degree.
Ms. O’Flynn has extensive financial services experience with expertise in accounting, tax, risk, compliance, operations and valuation.
