Stephanie Vore ApplePrincipal UX Designer & Researcher at Fidelity
As an art major in college, there was concern over my job prospects, especially if I couldn’t be the next Milton Glaser. I listened to my critics… and minored in administrative science minor - a combination of business and behavioral psychology.
Thus, began my UX journey. From small businesses to large companies, I listened to clients and designed print and visual communications. In early 2000, it evolved into web design. The last few years have focused solely on the user experience and creating interfaces. (I was so passionate about it I went for a master’s at Bentley University.)
The journey led me to Fidelity Investments where for the past eight years I’ve been a UX Designer supporting the enterprise by helping associates do their best work digitally… in an ever-changing tech world.
The high point of any day is listening to a user.
The low point is when business partners don’t listen to the research findings.
When I’m not creative problem solving, I enjoy being visually stimulated at art museums, exploring city centers and scrolling through Instagram.
