Megan Pfrimmer joined Slate in 2016 as Vice President, Investments and currently leads acquisitions for the development business. Prior to this, she oversaw the screening, underwriting, due diligence and execution of over $2.5B in Canadian investments, including office, industrial, retail, multi-family and development land assets and provided fund management for the Slate Canadian Real Estate Opportunity Fund I. In March 2019, Megan participated in Slate’s first acquisition in Metro Vancouver, being Capital Point in Burnaby. In 2020, Slate added 339 East 1st Avenue in the False Creek Flats to its Vancouver projects. Before joining Slate, Megan held investment banking positions with Blackstone and CIBC as well as roles at GE Capital, Triovest and Cushman & Wakefield.
She holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Ryerson University and a Post Graduate Certificate in Real Property Valuation from the University of British Columbia.
