Ásdís Olsen Pétursdóttir is a Research Scientist in the CMC Bioanalysis group at Novo Nordisk where she works with cell based potency assays. She has developed, validated and supported assays for lot release and characterization for early and late phase biotechnology products. She acquired a B.Sc. in Molecular Biology at the University of Iceland. During and after her B.Sc. studies she worked in a QC department at Actavis, before continuing her studies in M.Sc. in Pharmaceutical Design and Engineering at the Technical University of Denmark. The M.Sc. project On setting new direction in development and optimization of potency assays was performed at Novo Nordisk CMC Bioanalysis.
