Ryan Makar, as an Associate Director within Altus Group’s Cost and Project Management team currently based in Calgary, has over 22 years of experience in estimating, cost consulting, and project management within Western Canada on projects ranging from $10K to upwards of $15B. Having worked for both private firms and public entities as an owner, consultant, and contractor, he has a multi-faceted and unique understanding of private and public project requirements. Ryan takes a three-fold approach to supporting effective project management: delivery of accurate, timely, and reliable technical results; advisory services throughout all stages of the project lifecycle framework to promote effective risk management; and a focus on development of genuine relationships with project team members to ensure ongoing effective communication. All these focus areas align with his ultimate goal of producing reliable and predictable project results.
