Nichole StylianouNutritionist at MCTC
Nichole Stylianou, a food nutritionist for international catering management and training provider MCTC, oversees food safety and nutrition for the company’s seafarers. She creates specialist nutrition plans to make sure crew members are eating healthily, shares diet-related newsletters and updates with them and chooses and monitors the food on board vessels.
Before joining MCTC, Nichole – who holds a BSc in Food and Nutrition Sciences and Dietetic Concentration from Montclair University, US and MA degree in Beaty therapy care, exercise in health promotion and stress management – Gained experience in variety of Hospitals in the U.S and worked for Clara Mass Hospital in New Jersey as a diet controller.
She then returned to Cyprus, working for 13 years in a private practice where she consulted adult, child and adolescent patients on weight loss and weight management, and sports nutrition. Additionally, Nichole provided nutrition therapy for people with health complications. In Cyprus, Nichole was also a professor of nutrition at CDA College.
Nichole has lectured at conferences for the Cyprus Diabetes Association and Cyprus Cancer Association, and spoken at different sports clubs, schools and health associations.
