Designing an approach and a strategy for seafarer health, in general, is as vital as it is complicated. When we factor in the complexities of women’s' health and the realities of facilities and systems have not been designed for women, but adapted, successfully, the question becomes even more problematic. In this session we look at some of the differences and provisions that should be in place to respond to ensure our women seafarers stay healthy and safe at sea.

You may have been on the receiving end, or quite the opposite at different times in your career. Assumptions, biases and anecdotes, well intentioned as they may be, have the power to slow down if not kill careers. So, it's time we have a plain and simple conversation about what women want at work.
