#WomenInFunds Network at FundForum International 2016

Sell-out launch event announces initiatives to support young women succeed in fund management
Over 200 women are attending FundForum International 2016. That’s around 15% of all people attending and the percentage pretty well reflects what a tough fight it is to be a woman in fund management. With this in mind, FundForum is delighted to support Geraldine Gibson CEO of AQMetrics and her team who have taken the initiative to host a #womeninfunds networking event early on Tuesday evening, June 7th at 6.30 at the glamorous Waldorf Astoria, Berlin.
To support this venture, FundForum and CAIA have announced initiatives to support young women succeed in fund management.
FundForum #WomenInFunds Rising Star Fellowship
FundForum will offer ten free places to FundForum 2017 to women under 30 who are showing original thinking about the future of fund management in any aspect of the business. We will create a thinktank of these Rising Stars and surface, discuss and publish their views on key issues and solutions in the industry.
CAIA #WomenInFunds Scholarship
We strongly believe that education is key in building a successful career. CAIA’s generous scholarship, which includes a waiver of the enrolment and registration fees for its Level I exams (worth USD $1,650), will be offered to a woman professional in the asset management space.

Whether battling to the top as CEO or gaining traction through the ranks, we all face challenges and together we need a sisterhood of support.
This is it, join us. Maybe you have other initiatives or great ideas to add? If so, join the conversation on twitter #womeninfunds.
