Ethanol Plant Visit
Visit BioWanze, part of the CropEnergies group and one of the most innovative bioethanol production facilities in Europe. With a production capacity of 300,000m³ bioethanol, more than 350,000t liquid animal feed and 55,000 gluten, BioWanze is the largest bioethanol producer in Belgium. In a biomass power plant - the only one of its kind in Europe so far - the bran from the wheat delivered is used to generate the thermal and electrical energy for the production of bioethanol.
The visit is free to attend for all registered conference delegates. You will be picked up from the Steigenberger Wiltcher's Hotel on Monday 7th November at 12.30 and dropped back off at the conference venue by 18.00. The plant visit and the transport to and from the plant are organised by CropEnergies.
