Profile

Yvette Sadler Butler is CEO and Founder of Hive Wealth a community wealth planning app providing a NextGen platform linking Non-Profit Membership Organizations and their Members to wealth-techs including wills & trusts, investments and insurance to drive wealth building and manage wealth transfer. For the first time, the banking value system is opened up to Non-Profit Foundations for their social impact investments.

Hive Wealth was launched in 2017 to close the racial, gender and generational wealth gap with a combination of inspiring content, powerful analytics as context and a community experience in one of 3 hives – professionals, gig workers/contractors, and entrepreneurs/startups.

Yvette is the former President of SVB Private Banking & Wealth Management and brings more than 30 years of experience working at the intersection of technology and wealth management. Yvette was also President of Capital One Investing, the first large bank to build its own robo-advisor digital platform. Prior roles include Managing Director for Wells Fargo Advisors, Head of Investor Marketing for E*TRADE, and various positions at Merrill Lynch, McKinsey & Company and Charles Schwab.

Yvette is board member of Voya Financial, Synctera, and Hillcrest Financial. She was previously the Treasurer for the Washington Area Women’s Foundation. She is a member of the Executive Leadership Council, Black Women on Boards and has served on the University of Virginia’s Ridley Scholarship board.

In addition to her passion for generational wealth building, she is a champion for women and leadership development. In 2017, Yvette was named to The Washingtonian’s prestigious list of the Most Powerful Women in Washington and Savoy’s 100 Most Influential Black Executives in 2020 as well as the Most Influential Black Directors in 2021. In 2022 Yvette was named to Kayo’s Top 22 Women in Tech.

Yvette holds an MBA from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in finance and management information systems from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia.
