Simon P. B. Aldrich is Sr. Executive Vice President, Strategic Planning/MSR Portfolio Manager/Capital Markets, with Freedom Mortgage. Prior to joining Freedom in 2015, Simon was a Managing Director at Marathon Asset Management in the Structured Credit Finance Group. He has over 36 years of experience in mortgage banking, working in various capacities, specifically with residential mortgage servicing rights (MSR).

Prior to Joining Marathon Asset Management in 2013, Mr. Aldrich served as Managing Director with Natixis NA, a French Bank, from 1997-2012. While at Natixis Mr. Aldrich was responsible for all MSR related activities; structuring acquisitions, sales and financings. Mr. Aldrich worked at Bayview Financial as Executive Vice President where his activities revolved around advisory to financial institutions related primarily to the MSR asset. Prior to joining Bayview Mr. Aldrich was responsible for managing GE Capital Mortgage Services, Inc. where he was Vice President and Manager, coordinating all aspects of the business of valuation, marketing, and sale of mortgage loan servicing, whole loan transactions, and portfolio evaluations. He also worked for Hamilton, Carter Smith & Co.

Mr. Aldrich has been a past speaker at MBA and IMN Mortgage Servicing Conferences on the subject of MSR and also co-authored a white paper published in the June 2001 edition of the Journal of Fixed Income titled “A Capital Markets View of Mortgage Servicing Rights”.
