Lauren is currently a Principal Scientist at Arbor Biotechnologies where she leads a program pertaining to CRISPR nuclease discovery, development, and therapeutic target screening in collaboration with an external partner. Since joining Arbor in 2018 in its infancy, she has had the privilege of seeing company assets through from their earliest stages of discovery to pre-clinical relevancy. Prior to joining Arbor, Lauren worked in the Grgicak Laboratory at Boston University School of Medicine where she co-developed a software (now commercially licensed) that determines the probability distribution on the number of contributors to complex, forensic DNA evidentiary profiles. She received her B.S. from Boston College and her M.S. from Boston University School of Medicine.
