David is Co-Head of the Contentious Financial Services Group in London and Co-Head of the EMEA Investigations Group. He has a wealth of experience advising clients on major cross-border internal investigations and enforcement proceedings. His practice covers a range of sectors, with a focus on financial services and energy.

David has represented clients in investigations and proceedings involving a range of regulators , including the FCA, PRA, SFO, HMRC and OFSI, and advising clients facing parallel investigations and proceedings before regulators in the United States, including the DoJ and the SEC. He advises on a broad range of contentious regulatory and financial crime issues, including economic sanctions and export controls, anti-money laundering, anti-corruption and fraud.

David is recognised by Legal 500 UK as a ‘Leading Individual’ in Financial Services: Contentious and ‘Regulatory Investigations and Corporate Crime’. He is described as “a brilliant tactician” and as someone who is “meticulous in everything he does”.
