Joana Correia is the Founder and CEO of Exogenus Therapeutics, a pioneering company specializing in developing therapeutic applications based on extracellular vesicles. She earned her PhD in Human Biology and has dedicated two decades to advancing health research. Under her leadership, the company made the leap from scientific discoveries to a viable human product, securing a significant R&D agreement with Boehringer Ingelheim. Joana received several entrepreneurship awards, holds over 10 patents, and has authored numerous articles in high-impact journals.
